Our new configurable 17A9BB-2S-S SPDT is a space-qualified Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) absorptive switch designed to meet the rigorous demands of next-generation satellite and deep space communications.

It operates with a frequency range of 18—31 GHz, making it ideal for high-data-rate Ka-band systems.

The 17A9BB-2S-S is built with space-grade integrity in mind. It is hermetically sealed to protect against the vacuum and outgassing of space, and it is EEE-INST-002 Level 2 compliant. It is rated to withstand a Total Ionizing Dose (TID) of up to 100krad, ensuring its electronics remain functional even after prolonged exposure to radiation.

It operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is rated to handle 26 dBm forward power. It maintains a robust 40 dB of isolation, insertion loss of 2.5—7 dB, and max VSWR of 1.8:1.
